Mac or VAIO?

I know right off so many friends who would strangle me while screaming the obvious choice is the Mac. HOWEVER, I'm not exactly sure I'm willing to make that transition. Like it's been said, once you go Mac, you never go back. I've been with the Sony VAIO for so long (I've used three of them in my short lifetime), but unfortunately my baby (S series) is dying on me. It's time for a replacement, and I've chosen the VAIO CR-series (mainly because of the option of a PINK laptop. Who could resist?). Then today my dad calls telling me he can get a MacBook for a discounted price. "Please let me know ASAP." So I have to decide by tomorrow.

I'd like to ask everyone for help comparing the two. I understand the Mac would be better for my interest in photography, but what about everything else?

Well, I use Notre Dame's gym for volleyball practices. And I know a few girls who are on the varsity team, but other than that, I wouldn't know anyone. :x

So for like, Sunkissed and Without Love, I just zoomed out with my camera and held it in my hand. You could also use a tripod and self-timer (more stable this way. I had so much camera shake sob). If you can, try to get a shutter remote for your camera. It helps TONS!
